Decadent Chocolate Smoothie

Ingredients (makes 4-6 servings):

  • 1 large date (remove pit)

  • 1 tablespoon cacao powder

  • 1 tablespoon goji berries

  • 1 teaspoon coconut oil

  • 1/4 avocado

  • 1 scoop chocolate Iron Vegan protein powder

  • 1/2 cup coconut water

  • 1/2 cup almond milk

  • 1 teaspoon agave syrup (I used honey)

  • 1 teaspoon ground turmeric

  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

  • 1 pinch ground pepper (to activate turmeric)

  • 2 cups ice

Directions:

  1. Combine all the ingredients in a high powered blender and serve right away.
